Dearest Friends and Family,
As many of you know I received an opportunity last year to go on a mission’s trip to Ecuador. It was a life changing experience to see those who had never heard about Jesus come to learn about who He is and what He has done for us. We ministered to hundreds of children all over the country and saw lives changed. My plan is to go back to Ecuador with Global Encounters for 2 weeks. We will be doing VBS camps morning and afternoon, training local youth workers, and discipling teens. We will also be doing a summer camp for a week. This is a time the children can get away for a week, have fun, and grow in their knowledge of God.
My trip is scheduled July 9-24. If you feel led, you can make a donation, it would be much appreciated! The amount of money I still need is $3,185. I feel that the Lord will provide the funds and I have left that part up to Him! If you would like to support me, you donate directly at the bottom of this page. Or you can send a donation in the mail by filling out the enclosed form and mailing it to Global Encounters: ATTN: Haley Bryson
Although money helps, the real support I will need is your prayers as I go to Ecuador and speak the words of the Lord, and allow Him to use me to further His kingdom! Some specific areas you could pray for would be:
- Unity among the team and that the Lord would provide the right people for the team
- Peace and guidance in making decisions
- Health and safety for travel
- That God would prepare our hearts to minister and the people we will be ministering to
What does missions in Ecuador look like?
With the growth of the national church, many mission organizations have turned their attention elsewhere. While the church is strong and growing, pastors have expressed that they miss the encouragement from the missionaries. They are grateful to work side-by-side with believers from other countries. It reminds them that they are not alone and not forgotten.
One of the most exciting things about working in Ecuador right now is the growth of children’s ministries around the country. Much of this has been spurred on by our team’s host in Ecuador, Pastor Benjamin Contto. He is the children’s pastor at a church in Quito and has mentored the development of children’s ministries in churches all over the country. It’s exciting to be able to work with him and invest in some of these children’s ministries!

I am very excited to see what the Lord will do through me on this trip. Will you consider supporting me through prayer as I endeavor to reach children who have never heard of Jesus?
With Much Love,
Mariah
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
